Our Demographics

The clients of Alta California Regional Center are as varied and as diverse as California itself. Our statistics are updated twice each year. As of June 30, 2024, we served 34,140 people across our 10-county service area. As an illustration of the diversity we serve:

• 62% clients are ages of 0-21
• 93% clients live in their own home or with family
• 18% of clients are Hispanic, 11% of clients are Black/African American, 11% of clients are Asian
• 7% of clients speak Spanish as their primary language
• 43% of clients have been diagnosed with Autism, 35% of clients have been diagnosed with Intellectual Disability
