Community Resource Developmental Plan

Overview

Each fiscal year, Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) submits its plan to the Development of Developmental Service (DDS) for Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP) development. CRDP development addresses the service and support needs of individuals living in the community to avoid locked or highly restrictive settings. The projects ACRC requests are based on the goals listed below and ACRC Stakeholder input.

ACRC reaches out to its Stakeholders (clients, families, vendors, client advocate, Provider Advisory Committee (PAC), Client Advisory Committee (CAC), ACRC staff, etc.) to provide input in which types of services to address client’s unmet or under met needs. ACRC uses Stakeholder input as a guiding tool to determine which CRDP projects ACRC may request DDS to provide special funding for its development.

CRDP Goals

ACRC’s goals for CRDP are to be responsive to the changing needs of the individuals we serve through an expanded capacity of services and supports designed to meet those changing needs. The goal is to meet the unmet and under met needs of our clients.

  1. Expand the availability, accessibility, and types of services and supports to meet current and future needs of individuals and their families in the community.
  2. Develop systems to ensure that quality services and supports in the least restrictive environment are provided to individuals in the community.
  3. Develop services that are person-centered and represent the diversity of the regional center’s catchment area.

Approved 2024-2025 Community Resource Developmental Plan Projects

Every fiscal year, the Department of Developmental Services approves a number of funded projects related to Community Placement Plan (CPP) and Community Resource Development Plan (CRDP). These funded projects are then submitted to potential providers through a Request for Proposal (RFP) who can provide services for the corresponding project.
