Disability Awareness Fair

Alta California Regional Center participated in the Disability Awareness Fair on Thursday, September 26, 2019 hosted by Covered California.

Upon opening, the Disability Awareness Fair was full with people looking to learn more and connect with vendors.The fair provided an opportunity for providers and agencies specializing in serving those with varying disabilities to meet face-to-face with prospective clients and provide insightful information to them and their families. ACRC met with multiple individuals and talked about our services and provide valuable information to fair attendees unfamiliar with the Regional Center system.

Prospective clients were not the only ones learning about the vendors and organizations. Vendors networked and learned from each other, expanding on the knowledge on how best to serve those with disabilities. Special thanks to Covered California for hosting the event and inviting ACRC to participate.
