Through the reporting of geographically defined resource development needs, identified through the Individual Program Plan development process, ACRC has established the following priorities in resource development during the remainder of the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

Adult Day Program

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is accepting Letters of Interest for the following service:

Service Code/Type: Community and/or center based Adult Day Services for adults with developmental disabilities, to serve ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals in the targeted communities.

Reimbursement: Established rates to be set by DDS or ACRC, depending on service code.

Behavioral Intervention Services (BIS)

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is accepting Letters of Interest for the following service:

Service Code/TypeBehavior Intervention Services (BIS) providers utilize the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions intended to reduce, eliminate, or prevent the future occurrence of severe behaviors posing a health and safety risk. This service is a trainer-to-trainer model working with parent(s)/guardian(s) in the client’s natural environment.

Reimbursement: A negotiated rate up to the statewide median rate set by DDS.

Camping Services

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is accepting Letters of Interest (LOI) for the following service:

Service Code/Type: SC850 Camping Services

Reimbursement: Established rates to be set by DDS or ACRC, depending upon proposal particulars.

Please note that there is no startup funding attached to this Identified Resource Need, however, the requested services match present unmet need in the target communities.

Early Intervention

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is accepting Letters of Interest for the following service:

Service Code/Type: Early Start/Early Intervention (EI) Services. This includes Occupational Therapy (OT) + Feeding Therapy, Physical Therapy (PT), Speech Language Pathology (SLP) + Feeding Therapy, and Infant Development Program (IDP) services for children who are diagnosed or at risk of developing a developmental disability from ages zero to three.

Reimbursement: Established rates to be set by DDS or ACRC, depending on service code

Service Code/Type: SC106 Specialized Recreational Therapy

In-Home Respite

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is accepting letters of interest for the following service:

Service Code/TypeIn-Home Respite services agency for children and adults with developmental disabilities who live in the family home. This is to provide services to ACRC clients in their homes to provide needed respite to their families.

Reimbursement: Established rates to be set by DDS.

In Home Respite Agency

Incidental Medical Services

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is accepting letters of interest for the following service:

Service Code/TypeIn-Home Respite agencies to provide Incidental Medical Services (IMS), in addition to agency in-home respite services. This service is to only be offered to clients with a stable medical condition per the approval by the client’s physician and/or registered nurse.

Reimbursement: Established rates to be set by DDS.

Service Code/Type: Person-Centered Planning Services for Self-Determination Program (SDP)participants and their families/care providers.

Residential with Out of Home Respite

El Dorado County

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is seeking to coordinate with community resources for the following service:

Residential with out of home respite services for adults with developmental disabilities in El Dorado County. Maximum capacity of 4 client, with single occupancy bedrooms.  Dedicated out of home respite room to be provided and may accommodate up to 2 beds. Out of home respite will be a separate vendorization.

Reimbursement: Established rates to be set by Department of Developmental Services or ACRC, depending upon proposal particulars.

Supported Living Services

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) has identified a need and is accepting Letters of Interest for the following service:

Service Code/Type: Supported Living Services (SLS) assist adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities establish and maintain a safe, stable, and independent life in homes they own or rent. SLS helps individuals make meaningful choices toward their personal goals in relationships and the community. SLS is offered for as long as needed and is flexible to a person’s changing needs over time.
